Dear Boo
Dear Boo,
In the latest episode of [censored for spoilers], *** WAS KILLED BY ***** IN THE METRO!! And now I am afraid of taking the DC metro. What can I do to overcome this fear?
Shattered Spirit
Dear Shattered,
Whoa, thanks for the spoiler. Fortunately, I don’t follow the show, but I’ve hidden the details for the benefit of others.
I am sorry to hear about your temporary metro-phobia. I am also really sorry that I cannot assure you that there is no possibility of you being exposed to dangers which may cause your death. At least there are security guards and police officers around the metro and elsewhere, who are willing to help you when you are in trouble. Trust the security system, beware of the existence of danger and get ready to deal with it bravely, as most “heroic” characters do.
Anyway, given the security systems, at last the metro is much safer than your wedding ceremony, if you watched Game of Th… Oops.
