SAIS Scores a Win Against MSFS

By SARAH LAWSON
WASHINGTON — On Saturday, Oct. 4, SAIS’ official soccer team, “Fire & SAIS,” played a friendly game against the Georgetown MSFS team “Force & Diplomacy.” Although it was friendly(ish), we are happy to report that Fire & SAIS emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. A co-ed soccer team, Fire & SAIS plays once a week during the fall and spring seasons. “The team is a great group of people. We play hard and have lots of fun,” said Eva Smith, team captain of Fire and SAIS. With about 30 participants, we are SAIS’ largest (and only) official sports team. We play full field outdoors at nearby Cardozo High School on 13th & U st NW. Please come cheer us on!
For more information on game times or how to join, please contact Eva Smith at ensmith10@gmail.com or Sarah Lawson atsarahg.lawson@gmail.com.
