An Interview with Xiangxue (Magic) Zheng
Hans Faye
Xiangxue (Magic) Zheng (SAIS ’23) has accomplished quite a lot in his young life. He has photographed the world from Chernobyl to London, served as a ranger to protect an endangered Chinese porpoise, and helped to plant tens of thousands of trees. For this SAIS Observer interview, Magic describes his experiences contributing to conservation efforts, exploring nuclear fallout, feeling discriminated against in London, and moving forward in life after SAIS. All photographs are his own.
