Green Beret who fought in Ukraine: “We’re just not doing enough”
Hans Faye
In February 2022, the Ukrainian government announced the creation of an International Legion to defend Ukraine from the Russian invasion. At the time, former Green Beret and Army Ranger David Bramlette was a graduate student at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Unable to accept life on the sidelines, Bramlette joined the International Legion and led a group of foreigners conducting special operations in support of the Ukrainian military. He currently works for the Romulus T. Weatherman Foundation, which facilitates the evacuation and medical treatment of American soldiers wounded in Ukraine.
