Sunday Trip to the Newseum [Sunday, 9/14, 1:30pm]

Come join us — Sunday, Sept. 14 from 1:30pm-4:30pm — for an afternoon visit to the Newseum, a must-see DC attraction, to learn more about the history of journalism, news media, and the importance of a free press in a democratic society. If you have any interest in journalism, want to retreat from the books, or simply want to mingle with other SAISers, the door is open. Special exhibits include the following:
“1964: The Civil Rights Act at 50”
“9/11 Gallery”
“ABC News Changing Exhibit Gallery”
“The Bancroft Family Ethics Center”
“Berlin Wall Gallery”
“Blood and Ink”
“FBI Exhibit”
“The New York Times Great Hall”
“Pulitzer Prize Photographs Gallery”
and more…
Tickets are $22.95 at the door. With your student ID, you get 10% off. Friends and significant others are welcome.
Meet us in the Nitze courtyard between 12:45pm-1pm, or at the Newseum at 1:30pm.
