NANJING — On Oct. 1, as China celebrated the founding of the People’s Republic, millions of tourists flooded the many hallowed historic sites, mystic mountains and breathtaking scenic wonders across the country.
Crowds line up outside of Nanjing’s “Zong Tong Fu”, or Presidential Palace. This beautiful museum is a major destination for Chinese tourists, especially during the first week of October, known here as “Guo Qing Jie”, or National Week.
